The Voice of Ohio's ProducersSM
To protect, promote, foster and advance the common interests of those engaged in all aspects of the Ohio crude oil and natural gas producing industry.Beginnings... In 1947, a small group of oil and gas producers came together and decided that there was a need for an organization that would represent the interest of the Ohio oil and natural gas industry. During that meeting, the Ohio Oil and Gas Association was born.
Since then... The Association has grown to become the statewide organization representing hundreds of producers, contractors, allied industries, professional members, associates and royalty owners throughout the state of Ohio.
For over 60 years... OOGA has set the standards for representing your industry in the state of Ohio. Through the leadership and guidance provided by OOGA, oil and natural gas has become a safer, more efficient industry.
Our membership includes numerous family-owned and operated companies, as well as large corporations. The Allied Industry and Professional members provide the industry with the most efficient oilfield equipment and services and the best of competent professional assistance.
Together, through a voluntary network if committees, these members are committed to working on governmental, legal and safety issues which affect the Ohio oil and natural gas producing industry.
A professional staff at the Association's headquarters in Granville, Ohio, directs day-to-day operations and administers the programs and services available to OOGA members.
Additionally, the association staff diligently lobbies to represent and fight for your issues before state and local government and their agencies.
