Contact Your Congressional Representatives on the Proposed Presidential Budget!
President Barack Obama's recently proposed budget strips away a long history of reasonable and proper tax treatments for American oil and gas drilling and producing operations. The result will raise $30 billion in new taxes on our industry, softens capital investment and will severely damage your ability to replace reserves.
We ask you to take the time to write your members of Congress to express your thoughts on the negative impact that these proposals will have on American energy production, your local business and your community. It is important that elected U.S. representatives hear your side of this story.
